Child Safety Standards

Protecting children from abuse and exploitation.

Nexus maintains a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards explain prohibited conduct, AI safety limits, user reporting, enforcement, and cooperation with lawful child-safety investigations.

Emergency or immediate danger: contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. Nexus support is not an emergency response service.

1. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

Nexus strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, harms, coerces, or endangers a minor.

This prohibition applies to real, fictional, illustrated, computer-generated, AI-generated, edited, or otherwise synthetic content involving minors or persons presented as minors.

2. Prohibited content and behavior

Users may not create, upload, request, distribute, promote, or attempt to obtain:

  • Sexualized depictions of minors, including nudity, eroticized poses, sexual activity, or suggestive descriptions.
  • Grooming, sextortion, coercion, trafficking, solicitation, or attempts to move a minor into sexual or exploitative contact.
  • Instructions, roleplay, prompts, fantasy scenarios, links, coded language, or evasive wording intended to facilitate CSAE or CSAM.
  • Content that encourages adults to contact minors for romantic, sexual, exploitative, or otherwise unsafe purposes.
  • Attempts to use Nexus to identify, locate, manipulate, impersonate, or pressure a minor.

3. AI-generated content safeguards

Nexus AI systems must not generate sexual, exploitative, grooming, or unsafe content involving minors. Requests that ask the AI to create, transform, describe, eroticize, normalize, or facilitate CSAE or CSAM are prohibited.

Users may not use prompts, character definitions, uploaded media, chat messages, voice interactions, or other features to bypass child-safety protections. Attempts to evade detection or moderation may result in immediate account action.

4. Reporting child-safety concerns

Anyone can report suspected child-safety violations through the Nexus support page or by email. Reports should include the account, character, conversation, prompt, image, link, date, and any other details that help us locate the issue.

Report through Nexus Support and choose "Child safety or abuse report", or email info@n-ones.com.

5. Review and enforcement

When Nexus identifies or receives a credible report of CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or related child endangerment, we may take immediate action, including:

  • Removing or disabling access to violating content, characters, prompts, media, conversations, or accounts.
  • Suspending, terminating, or permanently banning accounts involved in violations.
  • Restricting features, preserving relevant records, and preventing further distribution of harmful material.
  • Escalating urgent or legally reportable matters to appropriate child-safety organizations, platforms, or law enforcement channels where required or permitted by law.

6. Legal compliance and law enforcement

Nexus complies with applicable child-safety laws and lawful requests. Where required or appropriate, we will preserve relevant information, report apparent CSAM or CSAE, and cooperate with authorized law enforcement investigations.

We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to protect children, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or respond to valid legal process.

7. Age and product scope

Nexus is an AI companion and entertainment service and is not intended for children under 13. Users must follow all app rules, platform requirements, and applicable laws when using Nexus.

Child safety remains mandatory even when a conversation or character is fictional, private, AI-generated, or created by a user.
